When downloading the new ADAM 4.5 release, you'll notice that there are no 4.5-specific studios listed. In the compatibility matrix -which contains an overview of which version of a studio can be used with which ADAM Engine version- you can see that the studio versions that were compatible with ADAM 4.4 are still supported on ADAM 4.5.

When installing or upgrading to the 4.5 version of ADAM you have to make sure that your existing Studios or new Studio installations can work with the new Engine version. An assembly version redirect does the trick.

After installing or upgrading the ADAM Engine run the RedirectAssemblyVersions command, using the DatabaseManager command line tool (via the ADAM Command Line Prompt):

C:\Program Files\Adam…> Adam.Core.DatabaseManager RedirectAssemblyVersions -OldVersion=4.4.0.0
